Meet Dr. Martin

With over 20 years of experience catering to the unique needs of children’s smiles, Dr. JB Martin is passionate about giving children a lifetime of oral health. It is his goal to ensure that your child always feels comfortable, safe, and happy when visiting our practice.

Dr. Martin completed his formal education at Howard University, earning his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, his Doctorate of Dental Surgery, and his Pediatric Dentistry Certificate. Dr. Martin is an active member of the American Academy Pediatric Dentistry, National Dental Association, Old Dominion Dental Society, and John Mcgriff Local Dental Society.

As a pediatric dentist, it is important for Dr. Martin to continue his education in order to always have the most up-to-date treatment options available for the children of his practice. He believes strongly in continuing education, and along with his team, makes an extra effort to participate in continuing education opportunities.

Originally from Chicago, IL, Dr. Martin has resided in Virginia Beach for the past 15 years. He and his wife, Kelly, and a dog named Blondie. When he’s not in the office, Dr. Martin can most often be found on the golf course.
